લોક ડાઉન માં લગ્ન, ઓનલાઈન 200 લોકો એ આપી હાજરી, વર-કન્યા ને આપયા અભિનંદન

કોરોનાનો પાયમાલો સમગ્ર વિશ્વમાં ફેલાયેલો છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં, વિવિધ દેશોની સરકારોએ તેમના નાગરિકોને સામાજિક અંતરના પ્રોટોકોલનું પાલન કરવાનું કહ્યું છે, જેથી વાયરસને ફેલાતા અટકાવી શકાય. આ નિર્ણાયક પરિસ્થિતિમાં, જ્યાં ઘણા લોકોએ તેમના લગ્ન મોકૂફ રાખ્યા છે, ત્યાં કેટલાક લોકો છે જેણે સામાજિક અંતરને અનુસર્યું છે અને તે જ તારીખે લગ્ન કર્યા છે, જે તારીખ અગાઉ નક્કી કરવામાં આવી હતી. અમેરિકાના ટેક્સાસમાં પણ આવું જ કંઈક જોવા મળ્યું છે.

ડાઉનટાઉન ઓસ્ટિનમાં, લોકડાઉન હોવા છતાં, એક દંપતીએ નક્કી કરેલી તારીખે લગ્ન કર્યાં, અને સૌથી અગત્યનું, આ લગ્નમાં, લગભગ 200 મહેમાનો ઓનલાઇન હાજર થયાં અને વરરાજાને શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી. મીડિયા રિપોર્ટ્સ અનુસાર, બધા મહેમાનોએ આ લગ્નમાં ઝૂમ એપ્લિકેશન દ્વારા વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સિંગ દ્વારા હાજરી આપી હતી. લગ્ન 28 માર્ચે થયાં હતાં. વરરાજાના નામનું નામ ઇથન પોલાક અને કેટલિન દિલવર્થ છે. તેમણે માહિતી આપી હતી કે તેમણે બધા મહેમાનોને ઇમેઇલ દ્વારા જાણ કરી દીધી છે કે લોકડાઉન હોવા છતાં, સામાજિક અંતરને પગલે, તેઓ તે જ તારીખે લગ્ન કરશે, જે પહેલેથી નક્કી કરી હતી. તેના ઇમેઇલને પણ મહેમાનો દ્વારા ગંભીરતાથી લેવામાં આવ્યા હતા અને તે તૈયાર થઈને લગ્નમાં હાજરી આપી હતી. ઇથેન અને કૈટલિનના પડોશીઓ પણ સામાજિક અંતર હેઠળ તેમના ઘરની સીમા દિવાલોથી લગ્નમાં જોડાયા હતા અને વરરાજાને અભિનંદન અને આશીર્વાદ આપ્યા હતા.

ઇથેનના કહેવા મુજબ, જ્યારે લોકડાઉન અમલમાં આવ્યું ત્યારે તેણે લગ્ન રદ કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું હતું અને વિચાર્યું હતું કે હવે તે આવતા વર્ષે જ લગ્ન કરશે. આ વેન્યુ અને કેટરર ને અગાઉ ના પાડી દેવામાં આવ્યા હતા, પરંતુ લગ્નની તારીખ 28 માર્ચે નજીક આવી રહી હોવાથી તેમની બેચેની પણ વધી રહી હતી. આખરે, ઈથન અને કૈટલીન સાથે મળીને આપસ માં વાત ચિત કરી, અને નક્કી કર્યું કે જ્યારે તેમની પાસે લગ્નનું લાઇસન્સ, રિંગ્સ અને લગ્નનાં કપડાં ઘરે તૈયાર છે તો તે લગ્ન જરૂર કરશે, ત્યારે તેઓ ચોક્કસ લગ્ન કરશે અને તે જ તારીખે કરશે.

કૈટલીને કહ્યું કે તે પાછલા આઠ વર્ષથી ઇથેનને ઓળખતી હતી અને તેને પ્રેમ કરતી હતી. તે તેના લગ્ન માટે ખૂબ ઉત્સુક હતો, પરંતુ લોકડાઉનથી તેની મુશ્કેલીઓ વધી ગઈ. તેથી, તેમણે અનન્ય રીતે લગ્ન કરીને વિશ્વભરના લોકોને આશ્ચર્યચકિત કર્યા.

Ekadashi વરુથી ની એકાદશી

*🇦🇹 કાલે વરુથિની એકાદશી (ચૈત્ર વદ-૧૧) છે.* 🇦🇹

યધિષ્ઠિરે પૂછયું : “હે ભગવન્ ! ચૈત્ર માસના કૃષ્‍ણ પક્ષમાં કઇ એકાદશી આવે છે ? કૃપા કરીને એનો મહિમાં બતાવો.”

શ્રી કૃષ્‍ણ બોલ્‍યા : “રાજન ! ચૈત્ર માસના કૃષ્‍ણ પક્ષમાં “વરુથીની” એકાદશી આવે છે તે ઇન્‍દ્ર લોક અને પરલોમાં સૌભાગ્‍ય પ્રદાન કરનારી છે.”

વરુથિનીનીના વ્રતથી જ સદાય સુખની પ્રાપ્તિ અને પાપનો નાશ થાય છે. જે ફળ દસહજાર વરસ સુધી તપસ્‍યા કર્યા પછી મનુષ્‍યને પ્રાપ્‍ત થાય છે. એજ ફળ આ વરુથિની એકાદશીનું વ્રત રાખવા માત્રથી પ્રાપ્‍ત થાય છે.

નૃપશ્રેષ્‍ઠ ! ઘોડાના દાન કરતા હાથીનું દાન શ્રેષ્‍ઠ છે. ભૂમિદાન એના કરતાપણ મોટુ દાન છે. ભૂમિદાન કરતા પણ વધારે મહત્‍વ તલદાનનું છે. તલદાનથી વધારે સુવર્ણદાન અને સુવર્ણદાનથી વધારે અન્‍નદાન છે. કારણ કે દેવતા, પિતૃઓ તથા મનુષ્‍યોને અન્‍નથી જ તૃપ્‍તી થાય છે. વિદ્વાન પુરુષોએ કન્‍યાદાનને પણ આ દાન સમાન જ બતાવ્‍યુ છે.

ગાયનું દાન કન્‍યાદાન તુલ્‍ય જ છે. આ સાક્ષાત ભગવાનનું કથન છે. આ બધા દાનોથી પણ મોટુ વિદ્યાદાન છે.

મનુષ્‍યો વરુથિની એકાદશીનું વ્રત કરીને વિદ્યાદાનનું પણ ફળ પ્રાપ્‍ત કરી લે છે. જે લોકો પાપથી મોહિત થઇને કન્‍યાયાના ધનથી આજીવિકા ચલાવે છે. તેઓ પૂણ્યનો ક્ષય ગતાં યાતનામય નરકમાં પડે છે. આથી સર્વ પ્રકારના પ્રયત્‍નો કરીને કન્‍યાધનથી બચવું જોઇએ. એને પોતાના કામમાં ન લેવું જોઇએ.

જેઓ પોતાની શકિત પ્રમાણે પોતાની કન્‍યાયને આભુષણોથી વિભૂષિત કરીને પવિત્ર ભાવથી કન્‍યાનું દાન કરે છે, એમના પૂણ્યની સંખ્‍યા બતાવવામાં ચિત્રગુપ્‍ત પણ અસમર્થ છે. વરુથિની એકાદશી કરીને પણ મનુષ્‍યો એના જેવું ફળ પ્રાપ્‍ત કરી શકે છે.

રાજન ! રાત્રે જાગરણ કરીને જે ભગવાન કાનુડાનું પૂજન કરે છે, એ બધા પાપોથી મુકત થઇને પરમગતીને પ્રાપ્‍ત થાય છે. આથી પાપભીરુ મનુષ્‍યોને પૂર્ણ પ્રયત્‍ન કરીને આ વ્રત કરવું જોઇએ. યમરાજથી પડનારા મનુષ્‍યે વરુથિનીનું વ્રત કરવું.

રાજન ! આના વાંચન અને શ્રવણથી સહસ્‍ત્ર ગૌદાનનું ફળ મળે છે. તથા મુનષ્‍ય બધા પાપોથી મુકત થઇને સ્‍વર્ગમાં પ્રતિષ્ઠિત થાય છે.
